The Bubbles Boutiques concept was conceived in January 2010 whilst reflecting on the joys of parenthood and wondering at what point I had blinked and my own 3 children had grown up.

Charlotte – the ’first born’ - beautiful, bright and always adorned in the latest designer look – now 17, driving, exploring the delights of clubs and college in mini- skirts and high heels.

Georgina – the ‘middle’ child – adorable and attention-seeking – but how chic she looked in variations of her big sisters ensemble – now 15, stressing about GCSE’s and displaying a cleavage to compete with Katie Price.

Edward – the ‘only boy’ completed the trio – brown eyed Mummies boy – how I relished dressing a boy for the first time – now 13, still the same brown eyes but somehow hidden behind attitude, apathy and his i-pod.

During the hurried rush of life I had taken for granted those wonderful feelings of pure fun, enjoyment and pride that came from dressing your child (without complaint!). How I missed creating that individual look that made my children stand out from the crowd, the admiring comments they would receive and the rush of excitement which came with every new purchase.

The Bubbles Boutiques was created. I wouldn’t have to continue to wait for every opportunity to buy for friends’ children or hurry the onset of becoming a Grandma - I would do it every day.
